Dutch Apple Pumpkin Crisp

Another Fall Dessert- seems like we are always doing a pumpkin or apple something.  Well, now we are doing a Pumpkin and Apple something.

This was quite delicious, but if I were making it for a crowd again, I'd make more.  We ate it all up and I think some folks would have had seconds if they were there.

Dutch Apple Pumpkin Crisp
10" Dutch Oven
13 coals on top, 7 coals on bottom

Butter, to rub on bottom and sides of DO
2 cups chopped peeled apples
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, soft
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 egg

Spread apples over the bottom of the buttered Dutch oven.  Combine 3/4 cup flour, brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter, and 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice.  In a seperate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the apples.  Sprinkle with flour mixture and bake 35-40 minutes.
